Hi, I'm Ash - the face behind Kairo & Alora 🤍

This feels vulnerable to write because I'm camera shy, awkward, and honestly never planned to be the "face" of anything. But I recently read Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert, and there's a page where she lists all the fears and excuses that stop people from doing things... and I felt very called out. 😅

I'm not the perfect version of me, I don't feel confident, and I don't feel ready. But who cares? There's no point hiding!

So here I am - imperfect, learning, and building something I genuinely care about.

Why I Started This

I hadn't worn jewellery for years because everything I could afford felt crappy, irritated my skin, broke easily, and just wasn't worth the money. I got so tired of wasting money on things that didn't last, so I just stopped wearing jewellery altogether.

After having my third baby, I really wanted to start feeling feminine and pretty again - like me, not just "Mum". So I started dabbling in making my own jewellery, just for fun... and it slowly grew into something more.

What started as a creative outlet has turned into something I genuinely love and am proud of, and I feel so grateful I get to share it with you.

What Kairo & Alora Is Really About

My hope with Kairo & Alora is to create a brand that feels real, trusted, and honest - where you know you're getting jewellery made with care, quality, and genuine intention behind it.

I make every bracelet and necklace by hand in small batches, starting with materials chosen for their strength, style, and skin-friendliness. This isn't mass production - it's careful craftsmanship that gets the attention it deserves.

I don't just say our pieces are waterproof and hypoallergenic - I prove it. I wear-test every design myself in the shower, at the gym, through daily life, before it ever reaches you. If it tarnishes, irritates skin, or breaks under normal wear, it doesn't make the cut.

For our Lucky Charm collection, I work only with trusted manufacturers whose materials meet my strict standards for quality and skin-safety. Every charm is checked for durability before it's added to our range.
